Usage Instructions

  1. Aspect Ratio: Select your monitor's aspect ratio (or each monitor's if using a triple screen setup). E.g.: 16:9 is most common for Full HD, QHD, 4K.
  2. Number of Screens: Indicate whether you use a single monitor or a triple screen setup.
  3. Diagonal Screen Size: Measure the visible screen diagonal (excluding bezels) in inches ("). If using triple screens, enter the size of a single monitor.
  4. Distance to Screen(s): Measure the distance from your eyes to the center of the screen (or the center screen in a triple setup) in centimeters (cm).
  5. Bezel Thickness (triple screen only): Measure the thickness of ONE bezel of your monitor in millimeters (mm). The calculator will consider double this value for the space between monitors. If your monitors have no bezel or the space is negligible, set it to 0.
  6. Curved Monitor(s): Check this box if your monitor(s) has curvature.
  7. Radius of Curvature (curved monitors only): Enter the radius of curvature of your monitor in millimeters (mm). This value is usually specified by the manufacturer (e.g.: 1800R, 1000R).

The calculator will show the recommended FOV for several popular games. Remember that the "perfect" FOV can also depend on your personal preferences, but these values are an excellent starting point for greater immersion and realistic perception of speed and distance.
